A small agency, on purpose

Why we started

Most people meet Medicare at a difficult moment — a birthday that comes with paperwork, a retirement, a spouse’s illness, a letter that arrives with a deadline printed on it. The information is genuinely complicated, and a lot of what reaches people at that moment is designed to move them quickly rather than to inform them.

We started VF Care Group because our own families went through that, and because the thing that helped most was simply someone sitting down and explaining it — twice, if needed, without sighing.

How we work

We intend to build this agency independently — not as employees of any one insurance company, and not obligated to put one ahead of another. We hold no carrier appointments yet, so that is a commitment about how we plan to work rather than a description of relationships we already have.

We work in English and Spanish, both fluently, and we do not treat Spanish as a translation of the English conversation — it is the same conversation, held properly.

We are based in Florida and will serve clients across the state. As we grow, we plan to expand into additional states so that families who move — or who have relatives in other parts of the country — can stay with the same agency.

What we will not do

• We will not pressure you, create urgency that is not real, or call you repeatedly after you have said you are still thinking.
• We will not ask for your Social Security number, Medicare number, or health history over a web form. There is no reason to.
• We will not sell, rent, or trade your contact information. Ever, and not to anyone.
• We will not tell you we are from Medicare or from the government. We are not, and anyone who says otherwise is lying to you.
